I have found a New Holland 1630. 4X4, Supersteer, belly mower and 422 hours. The dealer is asking $9300. I have not found many of this model for sale. I really have nothing to compare. If you fine people could enlighten me with some information on this tractor. It would greatly appreciated.

Micah,
The 1630 is very similar to the current Boomers. Its horsepower is between the current TC25 and TC29. Gross engine horsepower is 27.3 at 2,600 rpm. The current TC29 uses the same engine, but it makes its 29.0 gross engine horsepower at 2,800 rpm. Translation: same engine spinning faster on the TC29.
The 1630 was introduced around 1996 along with the 1530 (TC25), 1725 (TC29) and the 1925 (TC33). SuperSteer was only available on the 1530 & 1630, not the 1725 & 1925.
New Holland later introduced the current TC range to allow consumers to choose the SuperSteer axle on all four of the tractors.
The 1630 is a very nice machine. ....

Thanks for the information, I did do some extra research with the dealer and the previous owner. Just like you said it was a boomer before the boomers. I have purchased the tractor. It delivers in the morning. Plus, I got the price down another $500 to $8800. I am pleased with the purchase. Thanks again for your help! ....
